Synopsis

Dream of Another Summer tells the story of the encounter between a woman, Alicia, and a city, Beirut, in order to explore how the spaces we inhabit relate to us, and reflect on buildings’ destruction and preservation when being spaces of collective memory. This film is not only a portrait of Beirut, but also a cinematographic journey into the relationship of cities with life, progress and destruction. A reflection on the survival of a city over time.
