Synopsis

Werner embarks on his last journey Barcelona-Berlin, a route he has taken many times. He arrived in Barcelona four decades ago, breaking with his roots. Despite his son’s curiosity, he evades his questions. A disturbing image of Werner’s father dressed as an SS officer appears, holding a baby -Werner- in his arms. Videos from the 80s and 90s reveal a tender side beneath Werner’s tough facade. His son confronts him. The line between them, History and politics blurs. Their journey continues.
