For over fifteen years, Mariona Guiu –director, writer and producer–has been seeking out stories and bringing them to life on screen. In 2017 releases Singled [Out], exploring the stigma surrounding life as a single woman around the world. Her forthcoming work, Tortoise Time, sees Mariona return to Barcelona, in a self-referential feature documentary about the unspoken depression of her late father, interweaving found and original footage.
