Synopsis

In a post-apocalyptic Basque country, two brothers set out on a mission to Mars. A futuristic road trip through a family’s past memory. Txomin, an unemployed Basque archaeologist, is commissioned to carry out an expert report on Mars. With his brother Gene at the wheel, they set off from Éibar on an adventure through the north of Spain. Gene’s failing health and a mysteriously appearing toxic mist cause them to stray off course and turn to his sister Mila. The reunion of the three stirs up old family reproaches. With the help of some ghosts and Jesus Christ himself, the two brothers decide to finish their mission to get to Mars.
